On 25 June 2026, A.P. Rott presented his artistic work to the public for the first time.

Around 40 invited guests from politics, business, culture and the media accepted the invitation of Arnold AG in Friedrichsdorf. The occasion marked the unveiling of A.P. Rott’s sculpture Bear.2 and the first public presentation of his overarching artistic concept, Monumental Reflections. For A.P. Rott, the day marked a personal milestone. In his opening remarks, he said:

“Today is a very special day for me. It is the first day I present my work to the public in this way.”

The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of Germany’s leading national newspapers, also highlighted the significance of this moment. Its coverage not only reported on the unveiling of the sculpture but also addressed the broader vision behind the project. As journalist Barbara Schäder wrote:

For this reason, 25 June 2026 marked the beginning of far more than the public unveiling of a sculpture.

Friedrichsdorf is only a temporary stop on the journey of the second Transatlantic Bear. While Bear.1 has already found its permanent home in Canada, Bear.2 is still seeking its lasting location in Europe. Its future acquisition will also establish the foundation for the Transatlantic Charity Initiative, supporting exchanges and encounters between young people in Germany and Canada.

“Without dialogue, there can be no peace.” This guiding principle connects the two Transatlantic Bears. They stand as symbols of understanding across borders while serving as the starting point for an initiative that combines art with meaningful social engagement.
